Healing Yoga - Healing Diabetes
Updated: Sep 12, 2020
We are working on a series of 'Healing Yoga' videos and our second in the series is focused on diabetes. This is such an increasing illness and topic, and I wanted to share some Yoga postures that can help you in your recovery or in managing the condition.
We know that Yoga is a perfect practice to bring balance to the mind and body, and all postures directly target certain energy centres or areas to help bring about more harmony within the physical energy body.
As you move your body, the Prana within the body may be unable to reach a specific area due to blockages or stagnancy, with the movement of yoga and certain postures your body can receive vital life force giving your body the chance to get back some of what it may be lacking.
Here are a set of postures chosen for this topic. I also wanted to share the many other wonderful benefits that the postures have on the body. One posture can assist in many other ways on your road to recovery; hopefully sharing some benefits with you can help motivate you on your journey. The full video and practice can be found at the bottom of the page.
