Level 2

Level two goes into postures in greater detail including their physical and emotional goals. Students begin to create more strength during their practice and understand their bodies and the practice better. Level-2 is an opportunity to expand on Level-1 for a deeper understanding of yoga and its practice.

Level Two

Module two goes into more detail regarding postures, the aim physically and emotionally.

Class content:

  1. Gaining strength (learning sun salutations)

  2. Back bending Asana

  3. Forward folding Asana

  4. Twisting Asana

  5. Full Yoga practice including Relaxation (90 minute session)

 

This module is an opportunity to expand on module one for a deeper understand of Yoga and your practice. 

Benefits:

 

  • Identify a posture’s physical and mental effect 

  • Perform a range of postures with alignment

  • Strengthen the body

  • Adjust the body according to the posture

  • Introduction to Pranayama
