My Yoga journey came from curiosity when yoga classes were available at a gym. I was instantly hooked, taking holidays off work to attend evening classes and practising at home on my lunch break.

I had found movement in the form of ballet throughout childhood and nothing else naturally took centre stage until I found Yoga. I felt the mind-body connection in a way I never had before. My heart knew I wanted to teach yoga, it was a natural progression for me. I was accepted onto a foundation course with British Wheel of Yoga (BWY, Emma Lloyd) and completed my teacher training in India. I’m on another BWY journey with their Diploma course (Rosemary Bennett).

For me, Yoga has been ‘prevention before cure’, using tools I’ve learnt over the years to help me with bereavement and other stress related issues and I hope I can help you on your yoga journey too.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat where we will also learn how to practise yoga off the mat and work towards a Happy Heart.
